Fix BOOTMGR IS MISSING

Sebenarnya solusinya sudah banyak di internet, saya hanya akan mengambil beberapa kesimpulan dari apa yang telah anda lakukan hingga timbul pesan seperti itu dan bagaimana memeperbaikinya.(Tested in Windows 7 and Vista)

Bagian 1
Pesan BOOTMGR IS MISSING muncul karena anda melakukan :
a) Meng-compress drive C atau drive SYSTEM yang berisi File Windows
Yang Harus Anda Lakukan Adalah :
1. Siapkan DVD Windows 7 atau Vista
2. Boot lewat DVD
3. Pilih "Repair your computer"
4. Windows akan mencari drive yang berisi Windows
5.  Lalu pilih "Load Driver"
6. Nah sampai disini klik kanan Drive C (atau drive yang anda compress tadi), lalu hilangkan tanda centang di "Compress this drive to save disk space")

Bagian 2
Anda tidak pernah mengcompress disk SYSTEM tapi tiba-tiba muncul pesan BOOTMGR IS MISSING,
Penyebabnya :
a) Jika sering utak-atik software partisi semacam mini partition wizard atau yang sejeninsnya sebaiknya berhati-hati
b) Jangan men set active partisi sembarangan, set active hanya untuk drive C atau Drive yang berisi SYSTEM
c) Hal lain-lain karena sering utak-atik system
Yang Harus Anda Lakukan Adalah :
1. Siapkan DVD Windows 7 atau Vista
2. Boot lewat DVD
3. Pilih "Repair your computer"
4. Windows akan mencari drive yang berisi Windows
5. Pilih "Next"
6. Pilih "Command Prompt....)
7. Akan keluar X:\System>
8. Pindah ke Drive C atau Drive yang berisi SYSTEM dengan mengetik perintah "C:" lalu enter
9. ketik secara berurutan perintah berikut :
- bootrec /fixmbr
- bootrec /fixboot
- bootrec /rebuildbcd
- exit
10. Restart

Undervolt Acer 4540 - Turion m520

Hi, I'am going to undervolt my laptop with k10stat. Undervolt is different with underclock, with undervolt your computer performance will not decrease or increase, on the other word, this tool doesn't impact your performance. So what the uses? It used to decrease voltage of your processor.

If you apply this on your laptop, you can get more long battery life.

Here my laptop specification:

1. Amd Turion II X2 m520
2. Windows Xp sp 2 64bit
3. Ram 2 Gb

And this is my setting :

Remember, get your own setting with trial and error. If you set the voltage to low or high, your laptop would BSOD and restart automatically. This is normal, after restart k10stat setting will back to normal, and you can choose again until stable. Decrease the voltage one step from standard, and continue if BSOD doesn't happen. You can test your new setting with orthos program(this tool can bring your processor to work hard on top) and hardware monitor (to check how hot your processor work hard).

Actually there is software from Amd called Amd Overdrive that the function same with k10stat, but I prefer k10stat one because the UI is very simple, and very easy for me..
